Brugger is a specialist in the quality control of films in the food, pharmaceutical and packaging industry since 1860. We offer permeation testers for gas and steam, thermal contact sealing devices and testing devices for determining the sealed seam properties as well as other special film testing devices. We do everything we can to meet the highest standards – our own. Eurotech also offers Brugger-Certified Calibration Services for in-field equipment.
More About Brugger Feinmechanik
Good things need to be preserved – this is achieved by developing them further. Brugger was established in 1860 when Otto Brugger started producing special devices for the Munich Observatory and ruling machines for Germany and the USA. One hundred years later, his descendants, who have traditionally passed down the name of Otto, produced the first sealing devices and subsequently steam and gas permeability testing devices.
In cooperation with renowned organizations such as the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging, the family company, which has been called Brugger Feinmechanik GmbH since 1985, has made a name for itself around the world in the field of film testing devices. Over the decades, a wide range of testing devices have been developed with commitment and expertise which are used internationally for quality control and in R&D. Today, Otto Brugger and his daughter Petra manage the company which has stood for reliability and quality for 150 years. A company made to last.

Our Services
Maintenance
We carry out all necessary maintenance work on your test instrument in our qualified workshop. This includes calibrating the device to ensure precise functionality and fulfill your regular test equipment monitoring.
A test or acceptance report, which is issued on completion of the maintenance work, guarantees that your test instrument is fully operational within the given instrument specifications.
Repairs
After preparing a detailed cost estimate, our qualified workshop will carry out all necessary repair work on your test instrument. A test or acceptance report, which is issued on completion of the repair work, guarantees that your test instrument is once again fully operational within the given instrument specifications.
Scratched, burnt or otherwise damaged sealing jaws can in most cases be reworked to such an extent that they once again meet the quality standard of new sealing tools.
Equipment on Loan
In order to maintain the smoothest possible operation, you can request a loaner from us for the period of maintenance or repair.
We also offer a rental service for the HSG-P calibration system, so that you can check your HSG heat sealer on your premises.

Custom-Made Products
We can manufacture sealing jaws (up to 150mm x 25mm) with almost any surface to suit your requirements.
The measuring range of our GDP-C and GTT permeation testers can be shifted upwards by one or two orders of magnitude for new devices.
The documentation software of our testing devices with Microsoft ACCESS interface can be adapted to your requirements.
Training
For the demanding field of permeation measurement, we offer special training courses on this subject. The specialist knowledge acquired about the physical processes and the measuring method used in our devices enables you to correctly interpret the measured values obtained. Upon completion of the training, participants receive a corresponding training certificate.
Installation
If required, we can also carry out the installation and commissioning of our test equipment in your laboratory. Instruction in the operation of our equipment is included. Following installation, we always recommend a detailed and individual training course to prepare your laboratory personnel optimally for future measurements.
